Read the most recent information from the Iredell County Health Dept. 
(as of 3 p.m. there are 8 presumptive positive cases of COVID-19 reported in Iredell County)

N.C. Governor Roy Cooper issued an Executive Order today to close K-12 public school statewide through May 15, ban mass gatherings over 50 people, close some businesses.

Statesville is asking residents to only flush toilet paper down the toilet.  Items like wipes, paper towels and tissues can stop up the sewer system.  Put these items in the trash.

(these facilities are operating but are closed to the public) • City recreation facilities are closed. (Parks are open)
• Statesville Civic Center
• The following facilities are closed to the public - Statesville fire stations, City Office Building (301 S. Center St.), Police Department, Winston Ave. Warehouse facility, water and wastewater plants.

• All Iredell County public libraries. Public school students can schedule use of WiFi M-F, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Patrons can call to place books on hold M-F, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and pick up M-F, 3-5 p.m.
• Iredell County Senior Centers (Statesville and Mooresville)
• Iredell County Senior feeding sites (Meals on wheels program is still running)
• Downtown Statesville Wine Walk on April 4 and has been postponed until May 16
• Downtown Statesville Art Crawl on April 24 has been postponed until June 5

• Iredell-Statesville Schools are closed for at least two weeks. Remote learning will be available beginning March 23. There are 12 nutrition hubs where bagged meals are being distributed.
• American Renaissance School is closed for at least two weeks. Remote learning will be available beginning March 23.
• Mitchell Community College. Beginning on Monday, March 23, 2020 classes will be offered online until further notice. Please note that not all of our classes will be available online. All traditional/seated Continuing Education and workforce programs are suspended beginning March 23, 2020 until further notice.

• Statesville Utilities customers can make payments online, by phone (704-878-3564), drive thru, drop box or by mail. More information at
• Disconnections for non-payment are suspended until further notice
• ICATS – fixed routes (On demand services can be scheduled at 704-873-9393)

• Statesville Regional Airport will be open M-F, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. 24-hour notice is requested if fuel or pulling out services are needed.
• Statesville ABC stores hours are M-Sat, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
