Dear Residents,

We are excited to invite you to a community event that will have a significant impact on the future of our neighborhoods. Please join us for an Open House on Monday, July 22nd to discuss the future of the Monroe Street/Allison St corridor and West Front Street corridor.

Event Details:

  • Date: Monday, July 22, 2024
  • Time: Drop in anytime between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM
  • Location: Statesville Civic Center, 300 S. Center Street, Room B

Over 50 community members offered their input on the needs and potential of two Statesville neighborhoods in January. We have taken that community input to create a draft vision for each of the communities. You are invited to come and see that vision and offer your thoughts.

The City of Statesville has secured funding from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to explore how we can make the best use of older manufacturing buildings and enhance the overall quality of life in our communities. These neighborhoods have a rich history of manufacturing that spans over a century, with some buildings still in use and others left unused for decades.

Your input and feedback are crucial in shaping the future of our neighborhoods. The Open House on July 22nd is your opportunity to share your thoughts on what is proposed for your neighborhood and the suggested changes. This event is designed to be a drop-in, allowing you to attend at your convenience between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

For more information about the event and to stay updated, please visit the City of Statesville website at www.statesvillenc.net. You can find additional details, event updates, and related resources on our website.

We look forward to your participation on July 22nd as we work together to shape a brighter future for the Monroe Street/Allison St corridor and West Front Street. Your engagement is essential in our efforts to create thriving and inclusive neighborhoods.

If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact Matthew Pierce at 704-832-3852 or [email protected].

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you at the Open House.
