2024 Public Safety Academy

The City of Statesville is excited to introduce the inaugural 2024 Public Safety Academy, marking the first time both the Police and Fire Departments join forces to offer this comprehensive program. Building upon the success of the previous Police Academy, this new initiative expands to encompass both public safety services.

The academy is set to begin on Thursday, April 11th, 2024, and will span 9 consecutive weeks until Thursday, June 6th, 2024, concluding with a class graduation. Sessions will be held every Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at different locations, with Police and Fire Department staff taking turns leading each class.

Designed to deepen community understanding of Public Safety functions within the City of Statesville, the academy also offers participants the opportunity to provide valuable feedback, contributing to ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery to the community.
